1 What is responsible gambling?
Responsible gambling means treating betting as entertainment — not as a solution to financial problems or a source of income. 1x betting believes every player is capable of making informed decisions. But sometimes betting can spiral out of control, and when it does, having the right tools and support makes all the difference.
1x betting's responsible gambling policy is built on three core pillars — prevention, protection, and support. We don't just follow the rules; we actively work toward the long-term wellbeing of every player. Our commitment to players in Bangladesh: whenever you need help, we'll be there.
Responsible betting also means knowing when to stop — before the losses add up. Betting never guarantees an outcome, and keeping that in mind while setting your limits before each session is the first step toward playing responsibly.
Keep in mind: Betting is for adults (18+) only. If you feel that betting is having a negative impact on your life, please contact us immediately.
2 Recognizing the Signs of Problem Gambling
Problem gambling doesn't happen overnight — it builds gradually. If you notice any of the signs below, take them seriously. Whether you spot them in yourself or someone close to you, seek help as soon as possible:
- Feeling a persistent urge to keep betting in order to recover losses.
- Spending more than your set betting budget.
- Hiding betting activity from family or friends.
- Betting with borrowed money or by drawing on savings.
- Feeling restless, irritable, or anxious when not betting.
- Betting causing problems at work, school, or in relationships.
- Repeatedly trying to stop betting but failing to do so.
- Turning to betting to relieve stress or combat loneliness.
If you notice three or more of these signs, it's time to seek professional help. Don't blame yourself — this is a problem that can be resolved.
3 Self-Assessment Checklist
Ask yourself the questions below and answer honestly — this is just for you:
Have you spent more on betting than your budget allowed in the past month?
Have you ever tried to stop betting but found you couldn't?
Have you placed more bets to try to win back money you've lost?
Has betting been taking time away from family, work, or studies?
Have you borrowed money or dipped into your savings to fund your betting?
Do you feel irritable or restless when you're not betting?
If you answered "Yes" to two or more questions, please reach out to our support team: support@1xbetting.biz

5 Age Verification & Minor Protection
Anyone under 18 is strictly prohibited from opening an account or placing bets at 1x betting. This rule is enforced without exception. Age is verified at registration and reconfirmed through the KYC process before any withdrawal.
If you have children at home, it's worth taking a few precautions. Use parental control software on your devices, never share your account password, and don't hand your device to minors while you're logged in.
Age Verification at Registration
Date of birth is required at registration. If you are under 18, the registration process will not be completed.
KYC Document Verification
Age is verified through a national ID card or passport.
Re-verification for Suspicious Cases
We reserve the right to request documentation on any account at any time if there are concerns.
Actions If a Minor Is Identified
Account closed instantly, funds returned, and data deleted.
6 The Role of Family & Friends
Someone struggling with problem gambling often can't see it themselves — or isn't ready to admit it. That's where the people around them can make a real difference. If you believe someone you know has a gambling problem:
- Express your concerns calmly, without anger or accusations.
- Address specific behaviors — don't make it personal.
- Share information about professional support services and offer to go with them.
- Don't pay off their debts for them — it can make the problem worse.
- Take care of your own mental health too — don't exhaust yourself in the process of helping others.
